3) i slept wrong i think two days ago and now there are spots by my shoulderblades that HURT when i turn my head. i've tried stretching and applying pressure, but nothing is helping. ugh

1) for those who crochet, do you have any cool patterns for guys stuff? most of the ones i have in my book are for sweaters and well, i'm not up for that just yet. actually, any cool patterns in general would be good.

2) i heard there is some sort of dr horrible singalong thing giong on in NY. where do i get tickets? (if there are anyleft)

I'm going on a bar crawl tomorrow if anyone is interested in going.

The NYC chapter of Rich's Army is throwing a Bar Crawl & we want you and all your friends to join us!! We'll kick off at the Redhead in the East Village & move on to our favorite neighborhood bars from there:

1-2pm Kick-off & good times at The Redhead
2-3pm Drop-Off Service
3-4pm Common Ground
4-5pm Niagara
5-6pm Bar on A
There will be a map of the route w/ all the bar addresses provided. We will also have several raffle tickets available for purchase! We have a 50/50 raffle & some other great raffles kicking.


Tickets are a measly $20 & can be purchased day of or in advance when possible. PLEASE note that 100% of the money raised from ticket sales will go direct to the Cunningham family to help with medical costs & other expenses. $3 Bar specials will be offered along the way. Since we are the army of Rich, you will receive a "Rich's Army" armband but we encourage you add as much army, navy, or marine gear to your look as you can muster. The more attention we draw along the way the more people will want to help support our cause! Please RSVP as soon as possible so I can give the participating bars a heads up. I have off the week of Aug 24-28th. This is wonderful, except I have nothing to do.

I can NOT stay home all week. I will go crazy after 2 days.
I thought maybe my family wouldbe going to LBI, but that turns out not to be until Sept sometime. =(

I can't afford to do a week away, which I would LOVE. Maybe someplace closer?

I hit a groundhog on the way to a wedding this weekend.

I still feel horrible about it and can't get the sound out of my head.
it's the first time I've ever hit an animal.

i have a "wedding" aug 1. the quotes are because it's not the usual wedding/reception thing.
it's just a ceremony then dinner at the couple's house.
and here i am not able to find a single person (read GUY) who wants to go and/or is free.
i do not want to go to another wedding alone.
<sigh>
